• 2015 Annual Ranch Gala – A Night for Texas Conservation

Raising funds and awareness for Texan-led conservation was never so much FUN on October 3rd at this year’s 2015 Annual Ranch Gala at Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas benefiting Texan by Nature. The organization was in founded in 2011 by former First Lady Laura Bush with the goal of encouraging Texan-led conservation efforts that produce tangible benefits for people, prosperity, and natural resources. What’s a gala without a photo booth? The FUNauctions’ gang couldn’t resist posing for a few pics with our Texas flag and bandana-bedecked stick pony. Photo courtesy of www.faceboothtx.com.

Live auction for a good cause!

Gala photographer Grant Miller captured me on stage during the live auction portion of the night. The excited gala attendees supported Texan by Nature by bidding over and over again to help the organization with statewide projects.

Guests dined under perfect autumn weather with magnificent prairie views.

The funds raised on this amazing night will help Texan by Nature reach their vision of having Texas be the state that is best known for practical, scientific, and citizen-led innovations in conservation.

Me and 43 raising funds and awareness for Texan-led conservation.

President George W. Bush had time to say hello to yours truly. What a memorable way to end the perfect evening. It is inspiring to know President Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush are leading the way in our state to conserve Texas’ natural resources. Texas is truly blessed.
